Caderneta do Aluno

The "Caderneta do Aluno" application was one of the winning projects in the 2017 edition of the Participatory Budget for Young People in Portugal. This app offers a range of straightforward features tailored for mobile use, catering to both guardians of students from preschool to secondary education across all teaching modalities and the students themselves, albeit with differentiated access levels depending on user profile. Accessing the application is facilitated through authentication mechanisms such as Chave Móvel Digital.

The app enables interaction between guardians and schools, providing functionalities that allow users to consult various types of information. Key features include access to biographical data for both the student and their guardian, class schedules, the curriculum including associated subjects and teachers, identification of the homeroom teacher along with their availability, records of disciplinary incidents, attendance tracking, student assessments, class summaries, and task lists by subject. Additionally, it supports justifying absences and facilitates communication between guardians and homeroom teachers, as well as updating biographical records.

It is important to note that this app is exclusively available for public schools under the supervision of the Ministry of Education that utilize the E-360 student management system provided by the Ministry.
